Digital preservation policies

Spanish Journal of Clinical Cases in Internal Medicine (RECCMI) assigns a persistent DOI (Digital Object Identifier) managed by Crossref to ensure the identification and accessibility of our articles.

PKP Preservation Network (PN)

The PKP Preservation Network provides free digital preservation services for any journal on the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform that meets the basic criteria. Articles from the Spanish Journal of Clinical Cases in Internal Medicine (RECCMI) are archived in LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe), ensuring a permanent and secure archive.

LOCKSS

Open Journal Systems (OJS) is compatible with the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system. LOCKSS is an international community of institutions and networks working together so that stored digital information can be preserved and used in the future.

CLOCKSS

Open Journal Systems (OJS) also supports CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) to ensure that our journal articles are preserved and widely available. CLOCKSS is based on the open source LOCKSS software developed at Stanford University Library, which allows libraries to preserve digital journal content by regularly checking their websites for current content for archiving and preservation.
