Abstract

Ramsay Hunt syndrome (RHS) consists of peripheral facial palsy associated with a vesicular erythematous rash in the ear (auricular zoster) or in the mouth. Syndrome of inappropriate secretion of antidiuretic hormone
(SIADH) is the most frequent cause of hyponatremia with normovolaemia and has occasionally been described in association with RHS. We present the case of a 59-year-old woman diagnosed with RHS associated with SIADH. This association can be serious, so it requires early diagnosis and treatment.
