Abstract

Longitudinal extensive transverse myelitis (LETM) is a spinal cord lesion extending to three or more consecutive spinal segments. To this day, there are very few reported cases of LETM as a consequence of a COVID-19 complication. Post-infectious transverse myelitis is a potential disabling disease that requires prompt diagnosis and treatment to avoid the development of permanent sequelae. We present the case of a 57-year-old man who developed LETM one month after going through COVID-19 infection.
