Abstract

Acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis (AGEP) is a type of uncommon skin lesion characterized by the rapid appearance of disseminated, sterile pustules over an erythematous skin background. This reaction is usually triggered by drugs, mainly antibiotics, although other causes are infections and vaccines.

We report the case of a patient who developed AGEP after the administration of Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine against SARS-COV-2. To our knowledge, only six cases of AGEP due to SARS-COV-2 vaccine have been reported, and none with Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.
