Abstract

The management of arterial hypertension in pregnancy, the importance of early diagnosis and treatment and possible complications during the course of pregnancy and in the longterm constitutes an essential medical practice that in our case is managed by Internal Medicine. We present the case of a 34-year-old woman, obese, with a history of complicated gestational hypertension with preeclampsia, referred for follow-up of new pregnancy in which high blood pressure figures are observed since the beginning.
