Gonococcal conjunctivitis is relatively rare in adults, with an increasing incidence in recent years, mainly in men who have sex with men. It is an ophthalmological emergency since it can evolve to uveitis and corneal perforation, requiring a high clinical and epidemiological suspicion. A 30-year-old homosexual male who is in Madrid for the World Pride Party. He was admitted to ophthalmology service. He presents a gonococcal infection with preseptal cellulitis, with abscessed collection, and conjunctivitis.
