Abstract

Fever associated to antitubercular agents is an entity which can complicate the evolution in patients with active tuberculosis. This situation can carry the adoption of diagnostic and therapeutic attitudes which harm the patient, so it has to be thought about when fever persists or reappears in patients who meet the treatment and there are not suspicions of resistance to antitubercular agents. We introduce the case of a patient diagnosed with pulmonary tuberculosis who presented an episode of fever associated to antitubercular agents two weeks after starting the treatment, where clinical suspect was the key to make the diagnosis.
