Abstract

Infective endocarditis is a serious disease that can lead to an ominous prognosis if it is not treated properly. In very rare cases patients with endocarditis suffer from acute coronary syndrome, but its occurrence leads to a high mortality rate. Here in below, we present the case of a patient who required admission to the Intensive Care Unit on two occasions because of complications derived from infectious endocarditis due to methicillin sensitive Staphylococcus aureus.
