Abstract

The cava vein tumors are rare entities with a poor prognosis related to it aggressiveness, the diagnostic delay and the limits therapeutic options. We present de case of a patient who is admitted in anasarca. The clinical evolution is unfavorable in spite of the treatment. The image techniques and the teamwork were essential for diagnose.
