Abstract

The Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome was described at the beginning of the xxi century. It can cause severe laboratory abnormalities, such as extreme metabolic alkalosis, associated with significant morbidity and mortality, requiring close monitoring and appropriate treatment to avoid serious complications. We report a 34-year-old male admitted to intensive care due to extreme metabolic alkalosis and severe diselectrolythemia in the context of Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome.
