Abstract

Palpitations are often attributed to states of anxiety or stress, forgetting that they can be a reflection of a serious underlying disease, which can compromise the patient´s lives. We present the case of a male who comes to the out-patient clinic referring only palpitations, finally being diagnosed with an infrequent and serious cardiological disease.
