Parathyroid apoplexy: spontaneous remission and iatrogenic hypocalcemia

Parathyroid apoplexy is an uncommon evolution of the parathyroid adenoma, leading to a temporary or permanent resolution of primary hyperparathyroidism (HPTP) associated. We present a clinical case where our patient also suffered an acute episode of iatrogenic hypocalcaemia secondary to the use of cinacalcet.
